My Process- How I make Glittered Ornaments
1. I spend lots of time finding the vintage images I want to use. Once found, I do whatever manipulation I need to do in Photoshop. Then I print out the image and seal it with a clear gloss spray.
2. I cut out the image. I started out cutting by hand. Now I use my Silhouette Cameo Machine.
3. I glue the Image to a basswood strip. I glue Wallpaper to the back.
4. I cut out the shape. When I began I did this by hand using an exacto knife. Now I use a terrific
Dremel Moto-saw. I love it!
5. Each piece is glittered one color at a time. I 'draw' using a "Quickie Glue" pen and then pour on the Glitter!
6. When the glue has dried I spray the ornament again to seal the glitter. I attach a coordinating ribbon to the back and glue on a paper accent piece to cover the end of the ribbon.
7. I put the ornament in a glassine bag and add a tag. That's it!
